AN AOTA UPDATE FROM YOUR MARYLAND REPRESENTATIVE
Greetings AOTA colleagues,
Call for Motions 2016
Have you ever had an idea that you thought could be relevant to the practice of occupational therapy and move the profession forward positively.... or that your idea could benefit AOTA and our clients?
Keep in mind... all motions going before the Representative Assembly (RA) must be within the scope of the Assembly's function and purpose, which is the establishment of professional standards and policies.
Motions should meet one or more of the following criteria:
I encourage you to consider submitting a motion or an idea for a motion. You can do this by;

· Email motions@aota.org
· Phone 1-800-ASK-AOTA and ask for the RA Staff liaison
· Contact your Representative
The deadline for motions to be considered at the 2016 Spring meeting is January 14, 2016.
