    Vendor/Exhibitor/Sponsorship Opportunities

     38th Annual MOTA Conference

    November 2nd

The Maryland Occupational Therapy Association Conference Committee would like to invite you to explore various sponsorship options available at the 2018 MOTA Conference.  We welcome the opportunity for your company to highlight its products and/or services.

New this year:  Due to the high volume of students who attend conference day, we are going to designate a 1 hour Meet & Greet session specifically for Vendors and Students to interact freely.  With the plan for optimizing face time, the vendor tables will be positioned in and around the main conference room to allow for increased interaction between sessions, during the Keynote speech, as well as, the lunch MOTA meeting & ceremony.

Sponsorship is available if you are unable to make it to our conference.  We understand times are tough.  With that, we want to be able to offer the most cost effective packages for our sponsors.  We also hope to recruit some new vendors this year and initiate a more intimate, yearly relationship with all our friends of MOTA.

New Registration Process:  Please refer to the MOTA website (http://www.mota.memberlodge.org/Events) to sign up as a vendor!

Every OTA who is not a current MOTA member will be

provided with a coupon for a discounted membership rate.

Keynote Speech:  Karly Brown & Amanda Shears

Title:  Insight from the Other Side

"As OT’s we work with patients to develop a strategic plan to facilitate occupational participation. We plan and develop; we administer assessments and measure progress as we assist our clients in maximizing their functional outcomes. But what happens when the tables are turned, when we find ourselves facing extreme odds? What do we do when we are faced with disaster, when habitual tasks such as walking to the mailbox, or remembering our name become our primary focus? We turn to health care professionals with hope that they have insight into the patient side. We are here to offer insight through our lens as a patient and how it lead us to where we are today."

      * If you are presenting at conference, you are eligible for a discount for attending the full day!  Please email the conference gmail account (listed below) when you register online before paying so the discount can be applied!
